Eagle Buddies

Eagle Buddies is a mentoring and discipleship program that pairs up Honor Society and Student Council members with students in PreK through 2nd Grade.  Every 3rd Wednesday, Honor Society and Student Council members visit their assigned Eagle Buddy classroom to share a brief devotion or Bible story,  lead the class in prayer and spend a few moments interacting with the students. This year's devotions will include a monthly character focus: courage, thankfulness, generosity, self-control, kindness, faithfulness, forgiveness and joy, beginning with courage in October and ending with Joy in May. Eagle Buddies is designed to give older students an opportunity to be positive role models and learn the importance of that responsibility.  The younger students enjoy their time with their Eagle Buddy and learn to develop healthy relationships with people outside their peer group.
