TCA’s journalism class originated from student requests. Our alumni Julie Ann Lofton from the class of 2020 and Maggie Criner from the class of 2022 brought student-produced new media to the families of our school. Julie Ann had a passion for videography and wanted to create a television news program for TCA, Eagle Vision. You can still get TCA news and entertainment by following our YouTube account. Maggie Criner wanted to focus on print news, and with her desire to keep the student population informed, the Eagle Editorial became a second form of news production for TCA. Every month, you can read about students and staff. Finally, our staff member, Mr. Gary Murdock, provided the opportunity for a weekly radio segment for TCA journalism students. Every Monday at 7:30 AM, you catch TCA news on US 51, a local Covington radio station. We hope you will like and subscribe and keep up with all that’s happening at TCA through our journalism staff.
